On 31 March 2025, the Law Council of Australia released its Call to Parties document ahead of the 2025 Federal Election.
The Call to Parties outlines a set of key reform priorities identified by the Australian legal profession.
Through the Call to Parties, the Law Council is seeking the commitment of the various political parties and independent candidates to the reforms needed to improve law and policy for the betterment of the Australian community and democracy.
Responses from various parties have been published on the Law Council’s Call to Parties webpage for consideration by the legal profession and the public before the 3 May election.
