Cozee Law Associate Director Nick Wlodarczyk will take a spin around the dancefloor in the 2026 Dancing CEOs event to honour his mother while another lawyer is focusing on fundraising for her hometown.

Nick and Hundt Law Principal Sarah Hundt will take part in next year’s Women’s Legal Service Queensland (WLSQ) fundraiser.

The cast of 20 represents several professions including law, medical, finance, fashion and insurance. Together they aim to raise $400,000 at the 12th annual event.

Brisbane-based Nick is a committee member for Pride in Law and his late mother Justine was a long-standing WLSQ volunteer.

When not brushing up on his footwork, Nick specialises in property law, wills and estates.

Sarah works in property, development and commercial law. Originally from Mackay, she is passionate about ensuring women in her hometown have greater access to specialist legal support.

The 2026 Dancing CEOs will raise funds for a WLSQ presence in Central Queensland and the Whitsundays region.

WLSQ CEO Nadia Bromley thanked the diverse collective of corporate personalities for dancing to make a difference in addressing domestic violence.

“Our service deeply appreciates them giving their precious time to fundraise, train and perform to help us continue to provide life-changing and life-saving free legal and support services to Queensland women and children,” Nadia said.

“Sadly, there is continued and growing demand on our service and we desperately need corporate and community support.

“Last year, we answered over 15,500 calls, nearly 1000 more than the year before, and we know that there are thousands more women who need our help.

“Together, these Dancing CEOs will ensure we can support more women and for that we are so very grateful.”

Dancing CEOs has raised more than $5 million in 11 years. This contribution has allowed WLSQ to help tens of thousands of women. Since its inception in 1984, WLSQ has provided free advice and support for more than 160,000 women.

“Every woman deserves a chance for a safe future with her children, this year’s CEOs will help make that a reality,” Nadia said.
