Resignation creates QLS Council vacancy

The Queensland Law Society Council resolved to accept the resignation of Councillor Elect Mark Rowbotham on 28 November 2025.

Councillor Elect Rowbotham’s resignation creates a vacancy on Council.

On 5 December 2025, a formal notice will be sent to full members, in accordance with the Legal Profession (Society) Rules 2007, setting out the next steps to fill the vacancy.
