Will Barsby, Principal Lawyer at Barsby Law, has been appointed to fill the vacancy on the Queensland Law Society Council.
Will specialises in employment law, statutory insurance, and compensation law. He has more than 20 years of experience across the legal profession and private commercial sector.
QLS received 24 applications from candidates with diverse practice areas from Far North Queensland south to the border.
The Society acknowledges the high calibre of candidates and is thankful for their applications.
Will’s term started on 1 January 2026 and concludes on 31 December 2027.
