Court attire and robing policy clarified

The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1) and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) have updated the Court Attire and Robing Policy.

This policy sets out information in relation to professional court attire and robing of barristers and solicitor advocates who appear before the Courts.

The Court has clarified the Robing Policy is not intended to change the usual practice in Queensland for solicitors. 

The policy has been updated to confirm Queensland solicitors are not required to robe for appearances in Queensland courts, in accordance with the usual practice in Queensland.
