The Federal Court will start its 50th Anniversary National Practice Area (NPA) Seminar Series tomorrow, 2 July, with a session on The History of the Australian Admiralty Jurisdiction.
Justice Sarah C Derrington will be joined by the Honourable James Allsop AC and Professor Martin Davies for a discussion on the past, present and future of Australian maritime law.
The seminar will be livestreamed from Court 1 in the NSW Registry from 5.30pm and will include opening remarks by the Chief Justice.
To mark the occasion, livestream viewing sessions will be held in each state registry to gather colleagues and members of the profession to watch the seminar.
