The Sunshine Coast legal community came together to celebrate another memorable year at the recent Sunshine Coast Law Association Christmas Party.
SCLA President Mala Heffernan said it was wonderful to see so many members of the profession at the Maroochydore event on Friday night with more than 130 people attending.
She thanked the “incredible” committee for “their hard work and dedication has made possible a huge calendar of events this year”.
These events included the Justin Crosby Bursary Dinner, nine CPD events and the leadership in law breakfast.
“These events didn’t just bring us together – they raised significant funds for the Suncoast Community Legal Service and the bursary, making a real difference in our community,” she said.
“A heartfelt thank you to our committee for the past year: Callum Lee, Michelle Close, Leah King, Jessica Popple, Pippa Colman, Jodie Bruce, Jayana Kerr, Emma Middleton, Kylie Anderson, Maddy Veivers, Rozlyn Spring, Aiden Warneke, Alicia Lucas and Darnya Panikkar.
“And a warm welcome to our newest committee members: Bronte Crawley, Georgia Coen, Ben Rynderman and Jenna Ryan. We’re thrilled to have you join us.”
