The Queensland Supreme District and Land Courts Services has advised that, in the absence of specific judicial direction to the contrary, practitioners should apply the following presumptions to prisoners from the Arthur Gorrie Correctional Centre and other centres under Stage 3 restrictions:

  1. In-person appearance will be required for trial, and
  2. A videoconference appearance will be sufficient for all other matters where an appearance is required.
