With frontrunner Minnie Hannaford as 2021 FLC President, the QLS Inaugural Future Leaders Committee has elected their new office bearers.
Storm Scarlett has been elected as Deputy FLC President, Matthew Hollings as Vice FLC President and Simon Playford as the Queensland Law Society representative of the Law Council of Australia, Young Lawyer Committee.
FLC President Minnie Hannaford said it is an honour to be able to steer the Future Leaders Committee in it’s inagural year.
“The privilege is not lost on me, or my fellow Committee members, as we strive to advocate for inclusion in the legal profession, mental health support and services, and opportunities to enhance the experience of young lawyers in Queensland,” Ms Hannaford said.
“We are committed to fostering strong relationships with QLS stakeholders, the QLS Council and various Committees, and our peers who are the real future leaders of our profession!”
The FLC will be meeting regularly, engaging with CEO Rolf Moses, and QLS Council about upcoming initiatives and projects.
