Your law library premises closing for Greater Brisbane 3-day lockdown

In response to the Premier’s announcement of a 3-day lockdown for Greater Brisbane, the Supreme Court Library Queensland premises will be closed to the public from 5pm today (Monday 29 March) until after the Easter break (reopening Tuesday 6 April).

The closure includes:

  • the library and conference centre on level 12
  • the Sir Harry Gibbs Legal Heritage Centre
  • education programs and tours
  • after hours access for registered legal practitioners.

Library staff will be working from home so you can continue to access essential library services online and remotely. (Please note that the library will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.)

Contact SCLQ for assistance, research and information requests.

SCLQ will continue to monitor the situation and respond accordingly, consistent with the directives of the Premier and Queensland Courts.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
