In response to updated Queensland Health advice, all correctional centres in Queensland have returned to Stage 1 restrictions, effective from 6am today, 14 September.
Restrictions to visiting a centre will still apply for those who have travelled overseas in the past 14 days, if they visited or travelled through declared hotspots as identified or otherwise advised by Queensland Health in the last 14 days, or if they exhibit cold/flu like symptoms.
Prisoners are not required to isolate upon reception/return to a centre (unless advised otherwise by Queensland Health). Wearing of masks remains mandatory for any visitor to a centre in the south-east Queensland corner, from Woodford south to the border.
