Potts Lawyers has announced four staff promotions this month.
Joe Wicking, Danielle Hanson, Sinead Garland and Jason Papoutsis have been promoted to senior associate positions.
Joe Wicking
Joe is a QLS accredited specialist in criminal law, and has extensive experience in a variety of criminal law matters, including murders, drug trafficking, cattle stealing, corruption, fraud and driving offences. He has also represented clients in workplace health and safety matters, such as mining incidents and workplace deaths.
Danielle Hanson
Danielle is a senior criminal lawyer at the firm, and has a particular focus on domestic violence matters. She also represents clients charged with criminal offences including traffic matters, sexual offending and violence. Danielle has a keen interest in working with clients experiencing mental illness.
Sinead Garland
Sinead began her legal studies in Ireland before moving to Australia, where she completed her law degree at the University of Sydney before joining Potts Lawyers in 2018. She focuses on criminal, white-collar crime and regulatory law. Sinead also has experience in commercial law and civil litigation.
Jason Papoutsis
Jason completed his Juris Doctor at Bond University upon relocating to Australia from Canada. He has a strong interest in civil litigation matters, including employment and disciplinary law, commercial and contractual disputes, administrative appeals, equitable remedies and insurance disputes.
