The Supreme Court of Queensland has implemented a change to the published calendar for the Trial Division, which is reflected in the calendar for the period 30 January to 7 July 2023 recently published on the court’s website.
The published calendar removes information that is not relevant to legal practitioners, court users and/or members of the public generally, whilst maintaining the information that is relevant, as to the number of judges sitting in a particular jurisdiction of the court (or other courts and tribunals on which judges of the Supreme Court sit) in Brisbane each week, the jurisdiction in which the court is sitting in each of its regional centres (Cairns, Townsville and Rockhampton) each week, and when circuits in other centres will be conducted.
