The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia has published a hearings protocol which applies to all events in the courts from today.
The Hearing Protocol (SMIN-Hearings) applies equally to the courts’ family law, migration law, and general federal law jurisdictions and replaces the COVID-19 Hearing Protocol (SMIN-COVID-Hearings).
It includes guidance on COVID-related requirements such as face masks and social distancing, and directions on all types of hearings.
