Michael Elliott has joined the partnership.

Michael practices predominantly in construction and engineering dispute resolution, as well as construction insurance recoveries. He advises principals, contractors and consultants on major projects throughout Australia and overseas. Michael is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Stephanie Huestis has been promoted to Special Counsel.
Stephanie Huestis
Stephanie works within the firm’s property and injury liability team. She has a particular focus on public liability, contractors’ liability and coverage claims, with extensive experience acting for major insurers and corporate insureds locally and internationally. Stephanie is also the President of The Association for Women in Insurance (Qld).
Karl Higgins has been elevated to Senior Associate.

Karl has extensive experience working with in-house legal teams of large construction companies; managing construction matters across the full lifecycle of projects from contract drafting, review and negotiation, to major disputes and litigation.
Emily Holzberger and Hayley Nankivell have been promoted to Associate.
Emily Holzberger
Emily is part of the firm’s financial lines team. She practices in the defence of a broad range of professional indemnity claims, with a particular focus on the property sector involving real estate agents, property managers, body corporate managers, buyers’ agents and resident unit managers.
Hayley Nankivell
Hayley practises within the firm’s financial lines team, acting for a wide range of clients including solicitors, accountants, brokers, real estate agents and building professionals in pre-court and litigated claims. Hayley has assisted in matters involving social engineering fraud and data breaches, gaining extensive knowledge concerning security and privacy legislation.
