The Honourable Justice Baumann has advised that on 9 and 10 March, his Honour will be holding a call over of all outstanding Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1) legacy matters.
The purpose of the call over is to allocate matters to an intensive trial list in the weeks commencing 10, 17, and 24 July. The intention of the court is to have all legacy matters heard in those three weeks.
Finalising all legacy matters from Division 1 before the end of the year will allow the court to focus on matters being determined under the new legislative pathway.
