The Directorate of the Supreme, District and Land Courts Service is seeking applications for the full-time position of Director, Women’s Safety and Justice Taskforce District Court (SO)
The Director will lead a team to advise and support the Chief Judge to consider the response of the District Court to Recommendations 69, 71 and 72 of the Women’s Safety and Justice Taskforce regarding the improved management of sexual violence matters through the court system to resolution in the District Court.
The Director will also advise and support the Chief Judge and other judges of the District Court to consider implementing a Murri Court in the District Court focused on First Nations women as participants.
Applications for the temporary role (12 months with possibility of extension) close on 18 April.
