QCAT updates child protection form

The Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) has updated its Form 17 – Application to review a decision – child protection and adoption matters.

The Form 17 has been updated to:

• Amend the title to capture both child protection and adoption matters;
• Remove the tick box option for parties to seek a stay of a decision in order to streamline the stay application process and direct any person seeking a stay of a decision to use the separate Form 44 – Application to stay a decision. This is intended to ensure that any application for a stay has been made by a party after considered thought; and
• Reflect QCAT’s updated branding and content to ensure consistency with all other QCAT forms.

Form 17 is now available on the QCAT website.
