Richardson Murray is excited to announce the promotion of Ruby Priestley to Senior Associate as part of the family law team and the admission of Taylor Birtchnell on 19 February 2024.
Ruby Priestley
Ruby graduated from Bond University with a Bachelor of Laws in 2017, and then travelled and lived overseas. Upon her return to Australia in 2019, Ruby completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Training and was admitted to practice in Queensland.
Since her admission, Ruby has practised exclusively in the areas of family law, domestic violence, and child protection, including international aspects of family law under the Hauge Convention and Trans-Tasman Proceedings. Ruby recently completed her Masters of Applied Family Law through the College of Law and is expected to graduate in 2024.
Taylor Birtchnell
Taylor graduated from Bond University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Business, having received the Bond University Vice Chancellor’s Elite Scholarship – a full tuition fee scholarship. In 2023, she completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice through the College of Law.
Most recently, Taylor completed a two-year term as an Associate to the Hon. Justice Howard of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1).
Taylor is excited to practice with the team in the area of Family Law.
