Caxton Community Legal Centre CEO Cybele Koning will speak about protecting older Australians at an elder abuse forum in Brisbane on Friday.
The free Unite for Action: Queensland Elder Abuse Prevention Forum 2025 at City Hall, run by the World Elder Abuse Awareness Day Queensland Working Group and Aged and Disability Advocacy Australia, will mark World Elder Abuse Awareness Day on Sunday.
Cybele will deliver the keynote address to professional services experts in key sectors including police, health, advocacy, government and community, before a panel discussion about collaboration in service delivery.
