The Supreme Court Library Queensland has announced the extension of temporary access to the Virtual Legal Library (VLL) for QLS members until 31 July 2020.
Initial access to the online service was scheduled to cease at the end of May, however with the support of Queensland Law Society and Bar Association Queensland, the service has been extended in response to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.
VLL is an excellent research tool for practitioners, offering a free service that enables access to a number of legal publications such as commentary services, law reports, textbooks and journals from leading publishers LexisNexis, Thomson Reuters, Oxford University Press, Federation Press and CCH.
VLL access is available to full QLS members whose firm employs between six and 10 practising solicitors.
