Search effort continues around Mount Coot-tha

A police-led search operation is continuing in the Mount Coot-tha area for missing Federal Circuit Court judge Guy Andrew, 55.

A police statement today said that additional resources were assisting in the extensive land search for the missing Brisbane man, who left his home during the early hours of Sunday morning, 4 October. His Toyota Hilux was located on Dillon Road at the Gap around 2pm the same day.

Police have been scouring the Enoggera Reservoir and Dillon Road areas over the past three days.

Search efforts have included Polair, the dive squad, police on foot and on bikes, State Emergency Services volunteers and other external agencies, along with a large community effort.

Today officers have been joined by Australian Defence Force personnel, who are assisting in the thorough search of the surrounding areas.

Police are appreciative of everyone’s efforts in the search, however would like to advise there are sufficient resources for the operation.

Judge Andrew is described as Caucasian, around 180cm tall, with short grey hair and brown eyes. Anyone who may have seen him is urged to contact police immediately.
