MBA Lawyers has added to its team with appointments across all departments.
Joelene Seaton
Joelene Seaton, who has been appointed a Family Law Partner, is a QLS Accredited Specialist (family law), having joined the firm in 2018 after an already extensive career in family law. Joelene now leads the firm’s family law department and advises clients on all facets of family law.
Aleena Mills
Aleena Mills has been appointed as an Associate in the Family Law department. She has worked exclusively in family law and advises clients in all aspects of family law matters.
Ben Waldeck
Ben Waldeck has been welcomed as a lawyer in the litigation department, bringing to the firm a wealth of knowledge and experience in the IT space. Ben advises on legal matters involving technology and intellectual property, as well as corporate and commercial law.
Callum McConnell
Callum McConnell has joined the firm as a lawyer and will work closely with the litigation department in construction and body corporate debt recovery. He will support clients across all contract, dispute and litigation matters.
Danielle Watt
Danielle Watt has joined the personal injuries department as a Senior Associate. Danielle has practised exclusively in personal injury litigation for more than 20 years, gaining extensive experience across all practice areas.
Emily Leishman-Crerar
Emily Leishman-Crerar has been welcomed to the personal injuries department as a lawyer. After being admitted in 2019, Emily brings experience in commercial litigation and personal injuries to the team.
Nicole Senese
Nicole Senese has joined the commercial and property team, bringing more than 18 years’ experience in conveyancing and all facets of property law, including the requirements of the Australian Government’s Foreign Investment Review Board. Nicole will work closely with the property and commercial Partners to advise clients on all aspects or property and commercial matters.
Monica Drivas
Monica Drivas has joined the firm in the employment and industrial relations law division as Special Counsel. Monica is experienced in many areas of law and currently advises clients on a widespread range of issues in employment and industrial relations.
Sewar Mitanis
Sewar Mitanis has joined the employment and industrial relations division as a Senior Associate. Sewar has an in-depth understanding of the employment and industrial relations framework in Australia generally and Queensland specifically.
