COVID practice directions repealed

Chief Justice Catherine Holmes AC has issued Supreme Court Practice Direction 6 of 2022, which repeals the COVID-related Supreme Court Practice Direction 24 of 2021.

District Court Chief Judge Brian Devereaux SC has issued District Court Practice Direction 3 of 2022, which repeals Practice Direction 12 of 2021, along with Planning and Environment Court Practice Direction 2 of 2022, which repeals Practice Direction 1 of 2022.

Chief Magistrate Judge Terry Gardiner has issued Magistrates Court Practice Direction 1 of 2022, which repeals the COVID-related Practice Direction 5 of 2021. Judge Gardiner also issued Practice Direction 2 of 2022, which designates this year’s registry Christmas holiday closure period (28 December to 6 January).

Land Court of Queensland President Judge Fleur Kingham has issued Land Court Practice Direction 1 of 2022, which repeals the COVID-related Practice Direction 3 of 2021.

Industrial Court of Queensland Vice President Dan O’Connor OAM has issued Industrial Court of Queensland Practice Direction 1 of 2022, which repeals the COVID-related Practice Direction 11 of 2021.
