Experienced corporate and commercial lawyer Luke Mountford will transition into the role of HopgoodGanim Lawyers Managing Partner on 1 July next year.
Bruce Humphrys will step down after more than 20 years in the role and move into an advisory role, focusing on client and referrer relationships.

Luke has headed the firm’s Private Enterprise practice since 2009 and in the last year has led his team to execute significant private transactions valued at more than $1 billion, including advising Halcyon on the sale of its lifestyle communities business to Stockland for $620 million, and the owners of Seachange Group on the sale of its land lease communities business to Ingenia for $270 million.
In his new role, Luke will continue servicing clients, while also focusing on the next evolution of the firm to ensure continued growth.
