The Department of Justice and Attorney-General has developed the Court Services Queensland Domestic and Family Violence and Sexual Violence Safety Framework – Delivering Safer Courts 2024-2034 (Safety Framework) for people impacted by domestic and family violence and sexual violence attending courts.
The department has contracted Deloitte to evaluate the safety framework over time.
This evaluation will be completed in 10 court locations: Brisbane, Ipswich, Mount Isa, Cairns, Toowoomba, Caboolture, Mackay, Beenleigh, Bundaberg and Murgon.
Baseline data collection will take place from 1-29 March 2024.
Court users may wish to participate in surveys or focus groups related to the data collection.
