Queensland Law Society members are invited to a ceremonial sitting to farewell his Honour Judge Stephen Coates of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) on Wednesday, 24 April at 10am.
His Honour was appointed in November 2006 and sat in Brisbane and Cairns.
The ceremony will be held in Courtroom 7, Level 2, Harry Gibbs Commonwealth Law Courts Building, 119 North Quay, Brisbane.
The Honourable Chief Justice Alstergren AO also invites members of the profession to join the court for morning tea afterwards.
