The Downs and South West Queensland Law Association (DSWQLA) is encouraging local practitioners not to be late for a very important date – or to miss out on recognising a colleague.
Nominations for the association’s Lawyer of the Year and Emerging Lawyer of the Year awards have now been extended by one week to Friday, 15 August.
The awards will be presented at its Alice in Wonderland-themed Law Ball and Awards Night on 18 October.
The Queensland Law Society, an event sponsor, will also present 25-year pins at the annual celebration, to be held at The Annex, City Hall, Toowoomba, from 5.30pm.

Judges will consist of a representative from each of the following branches: District Court Judge, UniSQ Law School, Senior Member of the Bar Assocation, QLS Executive Committee Member and DSWQLA Executive Committee Member.
