Public holiday courts closure

Court Services Queensland (CSQ) has advised that all CSQ offices and court registries will be closed on Thursday 22 September because of the national day of mourning public holiday.

The only exceptions will be the Brisbane, Southport, Ipswich, Maroochydore, Rockhampton, Townsville and Cairns Magistrates Courts, which will operate for the purposes of overnight in-custody matters.

CSQ has published information about the public holiday arrangements for Magistrates Courts’ custody matters, remaining matters, electronic adjournments and domestic and family violence matters at courts.qld.gov.au.

All services and courthouses will re-open on Friday 23 September.
