QLS team at CQLA conference

One of the most effective ways Queensland Law Society engages with its regional members is through the strong relationships it has with district law associations.

The great benefits from these relationships were evident at Friday’s Central Queensland Law Association Conference 2022 in Yeppoon.

The Society provided several speakers on the opening day, with CEO Rolf Moses kicking off proceedings with a session on unconscious bias, David Bowles updating members on the latest cyber-security threats and how to manage them, and Shane Budden delivering an ethics presentation.

President Kara Thomson opened the conference (pictured) and also spoke at the President’s dinner, updating members about the Society’s recent advocacy efforts and future priorities.
