The Australian Association of Women Judges (AAWJ) is hosting a drag gala event on Friday 11 August at the Elizabeth Theatre in the Brisbane CBD.
Profits from the event will support the AAWJ’s work to assist female Afghan judges whose lives were threatened by the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban (read about the program here).
AAWJ events are usually restricted to judicial officers but this gala is open to members of the profession, law students and industry stakeholders.
The events starts at 6pm and dress is business casual or drag.
Tickets are $75 including welcome drink, nibbles and two hours of entertainment.
