PD issued for names, forms of address

Acting President Judge Dann has issued new QCAT Practice Direction 5 of 2023 – Pronunciation of names and preferred forms of address.

This Practice Direction applies to all QCAT proceedings and recognises the correct pronunciation of names and use of preferred forms of address is a matter of respect.

The Practice Direction further facilitates a process by which parties can provide, and the Tribunal can seek, guidance and clarification of these matters.
